US financial authorities start preliminary discussions on bond purchase tapering-at FOMC

US financial officials may begin preliminary discussions on the tapering of bond purchases at the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting on the 15th and 16th.

Officials such as the Federal Reserve Board of Governance (FRB) Chairman Powell are likely to be months away in that direction, but Wall Street and Congress, which have become accustomed to the unusual mitigation measures taken by financial authorities, have moved from that state. It’s not easy to peel off.

Today, attention is focused on the discussion of this tapering. Be careful as the US dollar is likely to move significantly.
