In the morning of London, the movement to buy euros is spreading. ECB Deputy Governor Degindos has responded to mentioning the possibility of a July rate hike, albeit dependent on data. Eurodollar hit a high of 1.0898 level from around 1.0850. The euro-yen has risen from around 139.10 to the 139.46 level, rising to a high. In the money markets, the ECB has factored in three 0.25% rate hikes this year.
Today, the focus is on raising the EUR rate, and major repurchase movements are ongoing. I will consider trading the EUR if I have a chance.
