Inspect the setup, not just the arrow
SuperScalp Usable brings direction, confirmation and reference levels together on your MT5 chart. Its signals are calculated on closed candles, with optional filters to define when a trend setup qualifies.
Supertrend identifies the trend state.
Enabled filters determine qualification.
ATR frames the stop and target distances.
These describe the analysis process, not current market readings. All calculations use the chart’s symbol and timeframe; this indicator does not use a higher-timeframe filter.
What the indicator includes
- Green/red Supertrend direction and closed-bar buy/sell arrows.
- Optional EMA price and slope, RSI range, ADX strength and +DI/−DI confirmation.
- Optional candle-range and recorded-spread filters.
- One signal per Supertrend direction run, with a configurable cooldown.
- Fixed reference entry, SL, TP1 and TP2 levels for the latest signal.
- A chart panel, optional popup/push/email alerts and three example presets.
How to read the chart
| Display | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Green / red Supertrend line | Upward / downward trend state. |
| Green upward / red downward arrow | A closed candle qualified for a buy / sell signal. |
| Blue dashed entry line | Reference entry based on the signal candle’s closing price. |
| Red dashed stop line | ATR-based reference stop loss. |
| Two green dashed target lines | Reference TP1 and TP2. |
| Dashboard | Last closed-bar trend, filter status, latest signal and levels. |
The line and arrows end at the last closed bar. Signals become available on the first tick after the next bar starts; no signal is drawn on the unfinished candle. Ordinary tick updates do not revise existing closed-bar arrows, while corrected or additional history and changed inputs can cause recalculation.
A panel status of Filters OK means the enabled filters pass. A new arrow also needs an eligible trend run and completed cooldown. The latest signal may be old and is not a current instruction to enter a trade.
Two signal modes
FIRST_CONFIRMED — the default mode
After a Supertrend reversal, the indicator waits for the first eligible closed candle that passes all enabled filters and the cooldown requirement. It issues only one signal in that direction run. The initial seeded trend at the beginning of calculation history cannot trigger a signal.
REVERSAL_ONLY — inspect only the reversal candle
Only the reversal candle is checked. If it fails a filter or cooldown requirement, the indicator does not issue a later signal during that direction run.
Default confirmation conditions
| Filter | Buy | Sell |
|---|---|---|
| EMA50 | Close above EMA. | Close below EMA. |
| EMA slope | Rising. | Falling. |
| RSI14 | 52–75 inclusive. | 25–48 inclusive. |
| ADX14 | At least 18. | At least 18. |
| Directional indicators | +DI greater than −DI. | −DI greater than +DI. |
| Candle range | High minus low no greater than 2.5 ATR. | Same. |
The filters are configurable. EMA slope applies when EMA confirmation is enabled, and DI alignment applies when ADX filtering is enabled. The recorded-spread filter is disabled by default.
Recorded spread is not execution spread. The optional spread filter uses the signal bar’s recorded spread in points. It does not measure the live spread at your order time or the largest spread inside the candle. A recorded zero can pass the filter.
Understand the reference SL and targets
Reference entry comes from the confirmed signal candle’s close, rounded to the symbol’s trading tick size. The default stop distance is 1.5 times that candle’s ATR, rounded up to tick size with a one-tick minimum. TP1 uses 1R and TP2 uses 2R, where R is the reference entry-to-stop distance.
Levels are fixed for that signal and do not trail. The next signal replaces the visible lines. Their default time length is 30 chart periods from the following bar’s opening; weekend gaps can make the visible span differ from 30 actual candles.
These lines do not place orders. There is no automatic stop placement, target-hit tracking, partial closing or position sizing. Actual entry, spread, commission, slippage, gaps and broker minimum stop distances can differ from the references. You must place and manage any real protective orders yourself.

Three presets for comparison
- Balanced: default ATR10, Supertrend2.5, EMA50 and ADX minimum18.
- Responsive: ATR7, Supertrend2.0, EMA34, ADX minimum15 and wider RSI ranges.
- Selective: ATR14, Supertrend3.0, EMA100, ADX minimum23 and narrower RSI ranges.
These are example configurations, not validated profitable settings. Use them to compare how confirmation choices change signal behavior, rather than treating their names as performance ratings.
Get your free account-specific copy
Choose any broker listed on our broker guide that offers an eligible MT5 account for your location through the listed referral route. HFM is our first choice, but it is not required.
Our preferred route: HFM
HFM is Forex Top Team’s primary recommendation for eligible users. Other brokers listed on our guide may also qualify. Confirm your residency eligibility, MT5 availability and the chosen broker’s referral requirements before registering.
- Open an eligible MT5 account. Use your chosen broker’s referral link or code from our guide. Existing clients should confirm additional-account referral attribution with the broker.
- Send your activation request. Include SuperScalp Usable, your MT5 trading account number, broker, exact MT5 server name and delivery email. Do not send passwords.
- Receive your personal EX5. After eligibility is verified, we compile and send your account-specific file with an English user guide and the supplied presets.
Our top pick: open an HFM MT5 account ↗
Suggested subject: SuperScalp Usable — Account Activation
Use your MT5 trading login, not your broker profile ID or MQL5 community ID. Activation is issued manually; the local account lock does not automatically verify referral attribution. The approved login is embedded in the compiled file and cannot be changed through Inputs or presets. A different account requires a separately issued copy. Some builds may also check the broker server.
Installation and first use
- Log in to your approved MT5 account.
- Select File → Open Data Folder.
- Copy SuperScalp_Usable.ex5 into MQL5 → Indicators.
- Refresh Indicators in Navigator, then attach SuperScalp_Usable to your chart.
- Read the English guide, review the signal mode and filters, and load a supplied preset if desired.
Allow MT5 to download sufficient history. Configure push and email under Tools → Options before enabling those inputs. Notifications apply to new qualifying signals on the immediately preceding closed bar; historical arrows present at attachment do not trigger a notification batch.
This independent MT5 indicator supports manual analysis. It does not open, modify or close orders. It is not compatible with MT4 and does not require Algo Trading permission for its calculations.
Frequently asked questions
Is HFM required?
No. An eligible MT5 account opened through any referral route listed on our broker guide may qualify. HFM is our preferred option.
Does one signal per trend mean one automatic trade?
No. It limits indicator signals. You decide whether and how to trade; no order is placed by the indicator.
Why does “Filters OK” not always produce an arrow?
A signal also requires an eligible trend run and completed cooldown. A previous signal may already have been issued in that same direction run.
Do SL and TP lines protect my account automatically?
No. They are reference prices only. You must place and manage real stops and targets through your trading platform.
Do the reference levels trail?
No. They are fixed from the signal candle’s close and ATR, subject to tick-size rounding. The visible lines are replaced by the next signal.
Can I use my file on another account?
No. Request another account-specific file after that account’s eligibility is confirmed. Changing presets does not change the authorized account.
Does it guarantee profitable trades?
No. Signals can fail. No verified profitability or win-rate claim is made. Compilation checks do not establish live chart behavior, successful account authorization or trading performance.
